At VFC, we are passionate about helping people discover their redemptive purpose and live the life God created for them. Our Next Steps are some ways in which we live out this call, giving you four steps that equip you to 1) connect with the leadership, 2) partner with our vision 3) serve in your gifting's 4) build healthy community.
Step 4 - Connect Groups
Connect Groups are our version of small groups here at VFC and they have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We want to be a church of small groups, rather than a church with small groups as we believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Connect Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
Here's some things we want you to know about our Connect Groups:
- Life flows in Seasons, so why shouldn't Connect Groups? We want community to be a part of your life's flow, so we follow a semester system; Fall (12 weeks), Spring (12 weeks) and Summer (6 weeks).
- Our Groups are designed to bring people together. Each group is different as all people are different, but we all follow the same material based on the previous Sunday's sermon. This gives us the chance to grow together as the church through small groups of people growing together.
- Everyone can join a group! Our hope is for every person at VFC to be connected in meaningful community through a Connect Group. You can join a group that best fits the day, time and location that you need. Fill out our Get Connected form and our Connect Groups leaders will be in touch!
Our next Semester of Connect Groups will be launching in September! Leader Training will be held August 11th.
Once we have your info, our Small Group Pastors Bret and Manda will reach out to you with more info!
